New Generation

I was thrilled to see this little guy in the blueberries! He is a juvenile male Orchard Oriole! The dark strip under his chin distinguishes him. This proved they did raise here this year, again. Soon, he will start to develop the rusty red and black plumage.
Our people are back in their right spots. The Costa Rican adventure went well. Josh and Logan got home last weekend and Sarah and Jessica stayed this past week for a yoga retreat. Jess got home Saturday night. She sounds refreshed and good! Sarah had a late flight and should be home mow. Lord willing, she and Logan should be here the 16th!! She is so intentional about being sure Logan has time with us and I’m so thankful. Time is a precious thing. A young woman around the age of our youngest died, along with 2 of her nieces, in a horrible car crash in Illinois a couple of days ago. Again, families and communities are mourning. So much sorrow. But again, God is proving His faithfulness and they are being well loved. I pray peace for them.
