Pink Monday

I’m off work today, before going back tomorrow, which has given me time to sort out a few bits and pieces.

Top of the list is to try and find out where Martin’s luggage went to, as it did not arrive with mine at Edinburgh airport last night. Despite, a lot of effort, we are still being stonewalled as to how to get it back. I spoke to a pretty useless call handler in Germany, who said, it was at the Lost and Found in Frankfurt, and I would have to phone them directly. Eh, no way … it’s their fault and we paid Lufthansa to get us and our luggage from Venice to Edinburgh, so it’s up to them to sort it (can you tell we are fuming). 

We have to say, that Frankfurt is the worst airport we have ever been to, and Lufthansa, the worst airline we have had the misfortune to use (we would be backed up by most of our fellow travellers on last nights flight, inc. all those who thought they were flying to Glasgow!).

The airline crew were pretty rude too, treating the standby travellers, as problems, not people who had been mucked around by their own flights being cancelled.

Never believe anything you hear about German efficiency… it’s all rubbish!

Anyway, rant over … here’s a nice pink cornflower from the garden.

All calm now ….
