Morning walk

Thought I'd have a walk somewhere in the shade this morning, before it got too hot. Drove to Carr Mill Dam and kept my walk mostly to the paths through the trees.
Too hot to do anything outside at home other than peg out washing and bring it in.
Baking hot!
Measured 30.8 in full shade in back garden this afternoon and I am sure it was cooler than earlier.
Apparently the Covid hospital admissions are greatly increasing and some trusts have reintroduced masks.
