Riverworks

S was feeling crap this morning so went back to bed. Got up a while later, seemed like she’d a fever. Hmmmm. Yep, tested positive. Not me though, not yet! So it’s been a quiet day.
Late on I took myself out for a wander, grabbed a coffee and strolled along the Ammer, just enjoying some evening sun. There’s been a ton of flood prevention and river management work going on the last few years. Building up the riverbanks with enormous boulders has meant more cycle/walking paths have been created with seating areas along the way. No chance of floods just now though, the water level is at 40cms which is pretty low for the Ammer. There’ll no doubt be lots of folk taking advantage this week as the temperature rises. Not S though, she’s in quarantine!
