Wild flower field.

A hot summers day in the wild flower field with loads of insect activity, the extra is a Field Scabious (one of my favourite wild flowers) with a neighbours honey bee in attendance.

I started trimming the various hedges when I first got there expecting to do something else as the day got warmer. It wasn't until around 2pm that I felt the need to get in the shade. Green People sunscreen factor 30 keeps my skin safe and today's choice of chilled cucumber water kept me hydrated, I don't really mind the heat! Having said that it's 10pm and time for sleep.
