Beerfelden
Hanulli, Teba and I visited the "Beerfelder Pferdemarkt" (horse market in Beerfelden (Oberzent)). It was my first time, although the market was organised the 120th time.
The market is a combination of a real horse market with a fancy fair, a lot of shows, contests (who has the most beautiful horse/cow/rabbit/etc.?), music, fireworks, and-so-on. Hanulli told me that normally the last day, the Monday is much fuller packed with activities, but perhaps Covid-19 was playing a role.
Of the horses I (still) like the coldbloods most. They are often so strong and so relaxed. One single man was telling two massive ones what to do!
The first extra shows a foal, one of the many frolicking youngsters, some really young. A joy to watch them jump and misbehave.
The second extra shows morgans (American breed). A lady was showing four morgans "dancing" to the sounds of music on her command. The one looking to the camera was new and participating for the first time. Here is a link to a video about her and the horses.
Not only horses, but also cows were shown and participating in contest. This good looking lady won a prize. Actually, the farm she comes from got many prizes, with numerous beauties of different races.
