Giant Scabious

If I don't give the giant scabious a day in the limelight it'll be too late for this year. Most of the blooms have withered now. The plant grows to an impressive height - at least 8' making taking its photograph tricky. Here it is in lovely morning light.

Thank you for all your kind comments and good wishes yesterday. So far I'm doing OK though it's not a pleasant experience. Yet again I feel so grateful for the vaccine.

I sat in the garden for most of yesterday and I expect today will be more of the same. I'm lucky to have a pleasant place to pass the time. Blips will feature the garden for a few days to come I imagine.
