Life at the beach...

Right from the start it looked like it was going to be one of the most beautiful days of the year so far. Our initial plan was for an morning spent on the Nachtegaal domain and education centre. However, seeing the beautiful weather outside, the program was slightly altered. The whole morning was spent on the beach - playing all kinds of games, sports and building sand castles. We even had a beach picnic!

The afternoon was spent in a more educational setting - we explored the Oosthoek dunes. We saw lots of sand, learned about the double time digestive system of rabbits and the coastal ecosystem. We are dune explorers now and have a certificate to prove it.
