This bridge....

.....is just a two minute walk from where we live. If you look through the arch you can see an "island" with an arrow sign on it. This is the rotating base of an old swing bridge, the rest of the bridge having been dismantled some time ago. The bridge could be pulled across with poles thus connecting both sides of the canal and then access to the now abandoned
railway line.
