Stacking up
While there's lots of stacking up of policies and alignment of support going on in Westminster, and at NASA, the publishing of images of a universal scale, I've been playing with the focus stacking feature on my camera to capture a part of the world at a truly small scale.
This is a 25 image stack, each focus point shifted my a millimetre or less to get the centre part of one of the flowers. The stamen and stigma are less than a mm in size, but, the detail, just like NASA's huge scale images, is truly amazing.
As a counter-point, there is little amazing in terms of detail at any scale emerging from Westminster. There are I estimate over 20,000 stars in that tiny image by NASA. Anyone want to guess how many are emerging in London?
