And Breathe...

My day has been about settling into my new surroundings, and relaxing after 2 busy days. 

It started well, with a red squirrel arriving on the deck to check me out while I was having my coffee. I am assured pine martens will appear at dusk if I put some bread and peanut butter outside. 

After lunch I visited Castle Roy, which is very close. What a lovely wee place - see Blip and one Extra.

Later in the afternoon I went on a hike through the surrounding forest, and got Extra 2. 

Right now (20:15) the only noise apart from the hum of the fridge is the sound of the wind in the trees.
