cherries

The cherries have ripened - a few days ago they were still green. I shall collect them early in the morning. I see from the clean cherry stone in this picture that the blackbirds have already noticed them. I shall leave some higher up ones for them. We went into Leicester today to the food market - always good to get fresh supplies and to support the market traders.
