Presentation Time

The Meirionnydd Special Riding Group where Jamie rides each Tuesday in term time had their end of year session today.   A raffle, a tombola, cakes and drinks as well as a ride.   The mayor of nearby Dolgellau was on hand to present rosettes and in Jamie's case a special award for perseverance - he's had several changes of pony over the last year.   In the heat today his steed was a bit fractious but it was a good ride, ending with a good canter in the ring.

The rest of the day was usefully spent doing a few chores, in Jamie's case quite a lot of them, assisted by Tilda this afternoon.   I've ordered the last few bits I need for the greenhouse and clipped the first half of the shading in place.   With water now available at the allotments I was out in the gloaming doing the necessary.   Hoping that I might claw something back after the long drought all but killed off earlier plantings.
