Dismal Day

Another wet and overcast day.  +6C.  This morning I parked by the lake and walked into town to do a light grocery shop.  

The only people who were happily working were the contractors zooming around on their truck/tractors moving top soil from one spot to the next.  The project is due to be finished in September.  We will all be pleased to see the road closures gone.  

The three local ski fields are open today where it is snowing lightly.  Only a day for really keen skiers!

The good news is that the sun will be back for the next 3 days.  That will be great.  In the meantime a nice hot chocolate is the order of the day.  I am now going to watch the DVD 'The Book Thief.'
