Piazza Dante - Napoli

When in Naples, I always seem to pass through Piazza Dante. It is full of characters, outdoor coffee bars, seating for evening drinks and nibbles (spuntini), restaurants, and sometimes wandering buskers. The streets are theatre here. One approach brings you from Piazza Bellini via a long laneway (via Porta Alba) filled with shops selling new and used books, magazines, and art prints, either inside shops or outside on sprawling tables. There is something for everyone in this marvellous city.
