Fiveways

This is the site of the old Fiveways garage in Batheaston from which fellow blipper Charente's family set off on their amazing 8000 mile over-land journey to Rhodesia in 1953. An original photograph shows their heavily laden caravan outside the garage. Today this had been replaced by a blue transit van. The garage has been extensively altered and is now a vacant showroom although many signs of it's previous use remain.
