Morning was broken

Ah well....

A truck hauling an excavator was overheight and crashed into an overpass. The excavator apparently was in pieces and there was a chain reaction of accidents involving many other vehicles.The highway was shutdown completely , as was the overpass. It'll take days to sort this out.

So, the net result was that the first 35 km of my 46km journey took about 30 minutes and the remaining 11km, almost 3 hours. 
I found out about the congestion when it was too late. I was already inbetween exits.
Glorious day weather wise though
