Old spoons.

I like an old spoon. These are up for auction tomorrow.  There are a couple of lots I am interested in. One is a large serving spoon and it was made and hallmarked in Newcastle.  
I don't usually buy silver but as I said I like a spoon.  
Some of the spoons are made by a female silversmith in Newcastle called Dorothy Langlands. Newcastle no longer hallmarks precious metals. The assay office has been closed for a long time.
