After the con yesterday

Slightly cooler and overcast this morning so we went walking from the Graves of the Leinstermen to the Millennium Cross close to Balllina on Lough Derg. 

The Millennium Cross was erected in 2002 funded by local people. It replaced the original cross which had been knocked down by a lightning strike.

Unlike yesterday’s landscape this is a real one. A great walk and lovely scenery.

Our holiday continues to meet our expectations and provided a much need holiday.
