Asha Basha Boo...

...is what we used to call her!
An early start with a doctors appointment, the standard delays and waiting around despite the fact I must have been pretty near the start of the day's patients! Then on to see one of the 24-7 girls for a pastoral, checking in with her on how she's doing etc. Really lovely to have some time with her.
I got home exactly as Danny and the kids got back from their morning of fun! Mid afternoon the kids and I found a shady spot under the trees by the frog pond (a new favourite place of ours!) and read books, coloured, and played. A very relaxing way to spend the afternoon. Nate described himself as feeling 'hot as a pancake' which I thought was brilliantly descriptive!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Secondhand furniture from the Anglican Vicar and his wife! He and Danny have already dropped it off at the centre.
2) The most delicious juice ever - orange, strawberry, raspberry and dragonfruit. Deeeelish.
3) Asha and Nate getting on really well this afternoon - they were both the loveliest versions of themselves.
