Beetle on lavender

I think this is a common red soldier beetle but not 100% sure. It was quite happy on the lavender but the wind kept blowing when I tried to photograph it! 
Bit warm for me , have been hiding inside a lot which is okay as am back at work (well not so okay!). Bit manic and covering a colleague's cases while she's in Costa Rica..!
