At the Hospice Shop
Time spent on errands, buying antique handles for antique boxes while still lacking antique screws*, a slow riverside picnic, one former librarian (Mrs Oons) chewing the fat with another one, and a browse at the Highland Hospice shop in Beauly.
I wouldn't have bought either of these when they were released, and at £30 a pop I certainly wouldn't now, but the covers are interesting. And if you're interested and nearby ...
* Well, you wouldn't fit antiques with stainless steel cross-headed self tapping screws, would you?
