The hummers have to share

This lovely Monarch flitted about the yard this afternoon and settled on the hummingbird feeder. It's something I have never seen before. Such a gorgeous butterfly. 

For the Record,
This day came in sunny and quite hot. We did some errands and enjoyed a late lunch/early dinner sharing a delectable Fisherman's Platter of local
haddock, scallops, shrimp and clams perfectly battered and fried. We sat outside under an umbrella and watched seabirds and an American Eagle over the Machias River.


All hands and paws happy.
