*** in the Rigging

This dodgy old rugby song has been going round and round in my head ever since I took this picture. I don't actually know any of the words, except the first line, either - how sad is that?

These crazy people were far to far up in the air - 70 or 80 feet I'd guess - doing whatever you do when you are this high up on a sailing ship. A lovely thing to see of a lunchtime. You can see more of the set here, including the Statsraad Lehmkuhl in all her glory. The difference between the first pictures and the second represent my trip to the charity shop. Before was bright sunny, after was right after a shower with the clouds still dark behind her, but the sun making all the spars shine white. Its so nice to live beside the sea - its like having movable scenery.
