Frolicking in the Waves

Another day of sun and waves.  The waves had got a little less wild but the guards on the beach remained very vigilant   You can normally swim at any point along this small beach but for the last couple of days only two thirds of it were deemed safe and the surfers were out in force.
Back to house for lunch and afternoon of pool and games with the kids.  Got photos of Jode, Aafke, Jones and Otis setting off from Amsterdam on their way to meet us.  So looking forward to seeing them all tomorrow.
The backdrop to my holiday has been listening to ‘A Promised Land’ by Barack Obama.  I have just finished it but have gone back to the beginning to catch all the bits I had not concentrated on.  What a man!  What a voice!
