The other side.

We have been staying on the Pest side of the Danube and today we went off to explore Buda. We have used Shanks pony (our legs) all the time we have been here apart from today to catch the metro to cross the water (we walked back over the bridge).  A lovely old part of the town although there was a lot of building work going to restore buildings, although some it looked like they were completely rebuilding to look like old/original buildings. Great views across the river too.

Another lovely dinner in the evening, opposite yesterday’s restaurant. However, the road had a power cut for about half hour but they kept going the best they could until the power was restored.
