Paisley Abbey

My town, Paisley, has a long and illustrious history as it became famous as a world renowned producer of fine silk threads and cotton. The famous “Paisley Pattern” based on ancient 16th century Kashmir motifs was manufactured in the town and the Paisley Shawl was born. The town also has a 12th century Abbey, and my photo shows the interior being set up for a recital.
