The Wishing Hare

Today I crossed over to Southampton with a friend to meet her sister. We did a bit of shopping but mainly drank coffee, ate lunch and talked (and talked!)
These hare statues are situated around the city. Their purpose is to raise funds for sick and injured children in the City.
This Wishing Hare is based on the Wishing Chair book that allows you to take your imagination away to find adventures and happiness around you!
I thought he was beautiful glittering in the hot sunshine.
