Peacock on Scabious

A bit of gardening this morning and this afternoon I went over to the farm shop to pick up a few items.  Some of the wheat fields have been cropped but I was disappointed not to see any red kites hanging around.

I had a "reward" notification from John Lewis but couldn't open it on my phone as apparently I need to upgrade the app. and my phone is too old.  I've only had it about four years (I think).  Checked on my iPad and I've got free cake and a drink.  JJ is buying me a new phone.  Somehow the costs don't seem to add up.  Even cake doesn't cost as much as a new phone.

Lots of peacock butterflies around but they are very skittish.
