Day 7: Amsterdam touristing

Since we had taken such a big shortcut, we now had a whole morning to do touristy things in Amsterdam. We enjoyed a canal boat tour with cheese and drinks, followed by a relaxed walk around the Jordaan area.
In the afternoon we collected our things from the affordable BnB outside of town, and continued on to get our ferry to Newcastle from Ijmuiden
