Stephansplatz Vienna

Today as we flew into Vienna for a city holiday, the Austrian Airlines captain announced it was 33°C. The heat rises up off the cobbled streets and pavements and it feels almost Mediterranean. This has meant, however, a relatively quiet first afternoon with gentle walking through the Stephansplatz with its imposing cathedral and soaking up the beautiful old architecture of Vienna’s old centre. And now for some chilled Austrian wine in the sunshine, leaving the current British blues behind us for a while! Happy evening everyone.
