In the Land of the Giants

“Once everything was big
and you were small,
but year after year your shadow
Crept up the wall
and you grew tall,

Quite frightening really
to think of that small shadow disappearing
to hear the small voice out of hearing.

That’s the trouble with growing,
you’d like to know where you are going,
but there’s no knowing “ G.S

I think it states a wonderful truth:we all want to know what the future has in store fo us, but the point is not where we end up but the fact that we grow as we make our way there?
