Birkrigg Stone Circle

An unexpected day.  The plan had been to get up early for a walk from Torver near Coniston.  That didn't happen.

Instead a visit to Holler Hall where we had a picnic in the lovely grounds and then on to Bardsea in search of Birkrigg Stone Circle which we hadn't visited before.  Great place made even better by the wonderful weather.

From here to a certain furniture store in Barrow in search of a new bed.  Haven't yet decided which one and the assistant when to great lengths to explain the virtues of lots they had on offer.  Mind boggled now.
