And the heat goes on…
…and on, and on, and on, without any end in sight. It is only possible to live and breathe normally between 6am and 10am. The heat is suffocating. Daftie and I venture out early in the comparative freshness of 19C, darting from one patch of shade to the next as soon as the sun is up. This was taken a little after 7.30am, and already it was too hot. Afternoons are spent in darkened rooms beneath ceiling fans working overtime. It’s hard to sleep at night. I love blue sky and sunshine, but I hate it when it’s this hot!
