Gowbarrow

We walked along with Airabeck on our right, crossed a bridge before heading up to Gowbarrow. It’s a small fell with excellent views over the Pooley Bridge end of Ullswater and the Pennines on one side, Blencathra (can’t believe we climbed that three weeks ago) and Helvellyn.
We enjoyed cake and coffee curtesy of Beth’s Big birthday in Airaforce car park. More plotting and planning for a September walk and afternoon tea for our fellow vaccinators.
I dropped off five bags of charity shop stuff in the afternoon and listed an old coffee table and swivel mirror on Facebook marketplace.
I also booked afternoon tea at Rickerby Retreat.
