Daddy's home!

After a horrible week without daddy, he is back in our lives - yay! I know it's only been a week and so many people go so long without their partners, but he hasn't got an "away from home" job so it's been a bit of a shock to the system!

After being a bit of a misery at softplay yesterday and taking a mammoth nap in the afternoon, I knew Noah wasn't feeling very well. His right eye was gunky and he was off his food :( Someone mentioned that swollen eyes, lethargy, off food, temperature were all measles symptoms and seeing as we live in a "high risk" area we went to the doctor to make sure it wasn't measles - phew, just a virus and a gunky eye ;)

We popped out to get a few bits and pieces for tea and then went to see Nanny for some lunch. Then we waited for daddy to come home! He brought home our new car which he picked up en route so as Noah was due a nap we went out for me to be able to drive it - god knows why, we now have two ford focus' (Foci?!). Just that this new one is a hatchback and our old one is a saloon.

Lovely evening, great family dinner and Noah LOVED having daddy back for bath time. I'm glad Oli agreed it was weird putting him to bed in his own room, he's sleeping so well that I know it's the right decision.

In other news, I think we might have a crawler very very soon. He keeps pushing up and wriggling, or going from sitting to all fours! I don't think yesterday was a fluke at all :) Watch this space!
