Half Mast

The flags at the Scottish Parliament were lowered to half mast today in a sign of respect to Brian Adam, an SNP MSP who passed away.

There were thoughtful tributes paid by all the party leaders at FMQs, and by colleagues who knew him over many years. However briefly, political hostilities ceased.

It's difficult to get a decent shot of the front of Parliament at the moment as most of it is shrouded in the works for the new security entrance...
