Along King Street

I crossed the street and branched out this morning--a new block to document. This property was a typical dried up lawn til the current folks took over. Everything this guy plants just seems to take off. The front yard is bordered by artichokes, and backed by a wall of gourds, with a circle of blueberry bushes in between! Creative combinations indeed, and a lot of work digging and shoveling and making the perfect dirt. I haven't seen beyond the fence, but I bet it's a paradise.  This border is currently sunflowers, planted by the squirrels, but sometimes it's an interesting red clover.
