Shopping in Ürgüp (We have arrived)

We left our Mustafa Pasa hotel at midday for the last leg of our journey - just a few km to Ürgüp where we wandered the tourist, antique and souvenir shops for an hour before arriving at our final destination, Murat's hotel where we always stay when in Cappadocia.

It is Robin's birthday today, so this justified, as if we need to, an afternoon on the hotel terrace with Jerry and Krystal with a few beers before, with mine host Murat, the five of us had a super scrumptious Turkish mezze dinner at Ziggy's restaurant. Yum yum. This lovely day was rounded off with a nightcap in the hotel bar (see extra pic for the view at night) before a long and peaceful sleep in my totally dark and silent cave bedroom. Bliss.  Happy Birthday Robin.
