Best hoof/foot forward

What a lovely calm day - a group of us went to Tiverton to enjoy a short trip on the Tiverton Canal on one of only two remaining horse drawn barges in the UK. We saw many moorhens, ducks and so many dragonflies and demoiselles - wonderful. 
George, our barge puller, behaved impeccably as one expects and enjoyed a few minutes rest whilst we had a chat in the cool under the magnificent trees.
Afterwards we had a delicious snack lunch in the little cafe - smashed avocado sprinkled with feta on sourdough was my choice.  Yum!
Another brilliant sunny day with a gentle breeze to keep us cool.
