End of an era

I’ve been running early on a Friday for as long as I can remember, but some time ago Alison asked if she might join me. Our boys are in the same class albeit one school year apart, and both attend before school activities on Fridays. Quite a bit later….possibly a year or so….we randomly/ casually invited Torhild to join us, but both of us were a bit concerned that she was
probably 20 years or so ‘less ancient’.

We need not have worried….it’s all worked out well in the end! We are all very good at accommodating each other’s needs.

Today was our last run :-(
Torhild has completed her chaplaincy and heads back to Norway with her family. Alison’s boy heads off to secondary school in September, and that just leave me and Noo.

It was good while it lasted.
