Rainfall

Overnight, we experienced gentle rain over a period of hours. Quite a change and not as forecast earlier in the week.

There is a forecast for very high temperatures in the southern parts of England with highs of 40C. The Westminster Government has declared a Level 4 Heat Emergency. This is a first. 

London or any large town is not the place to be next week. The predicted temperature in Scotland is forecast to reach 26C.
