Essentials

Took the dogs for a nice walk first thing as they are going to be left for a while today. The road into the park was shut halfway down so we had to walk through a different part to start with. Nice little open field with heather so Darwin could have a run. They seemed to enjoy the new section with lots of new sniffs. Got ready for the funeral and got collected on time. Not a nice thing to do but the service was very nice and a good turnout. Mum was there along with some of J’s old school friend. Headed over to a local pub for the wake. Lots of people I didn’t know but sat with mum till she left to go and hold a beading event at her house. Popped out to get fuel for the car and something for dinner in the afternoon and played another game of Villagers to learn the rules. Dogs were tired after 3 hours of guarding today so we all had an early dinner and then took them for a short walk in the local park. Spent the night watching some of the tennis and then starting another game of Brass Birmingham, starting to fully understand the rules at last. Finished off this bottle of wine with dinner that was quite nice. Only real photo from today so we know what we drank and can get it again at some point.
