Splash

This evening I took Sid for a check up at the vets. He has been signed off so that’s good. I then took Pierce and a Sid for a walk by the canal at Preston Bagot. Not a successful walk. We started off in one direction and then I decided to go back in the other direction. There were lots of dogs in the garden of a lock cottage and it must have been a long garden. They barked and barked and barked all the way along this very long garden. Sid became scared and backed away and splash! He fell into the canal. He was nearly submerged and then I managed to grab him by the collar and haul him out. Back home and he is celebrating his release from having to wear a coat or collar ring to protect his stitched area from being licked. In the photo, he has jumped onto the top of the bunny run, something I try to discourage but in general the bunnies just ignore him anyway.
