Sweet smelling sweet peas

Mum loves sweet peas so I bring her bunches from my plot. She likes to add other bits of plant, today she'd added fern fronds & pieces of hypericum from the garden.
Early sesh on the plot, giving everything a good soaking including the fruit bushes, then fed the courgettes, runner beans, peas, & tomatoes with comfrey tea. Picked a bunch of sweet peas for home, plus courgettes. I was down K just before 8am to walk Indie before the da heated up, picking up plastic. Bottles, & sweet wrappers discarded on the roadside. Had a coffee & chat with mum while she ate her breakfast then drove to NA. The new landlord wanted a set of front & back door keys so got them cut while I shopped in Tesco's. Very convenient having Timpson's on the Tesco site.
Back home, coffee then a bit of faffing before lunch. This afternoon I tidied the hedge/overgrown escallonia that hubby "chopped" back yesterday. Raking out the ivy at ground level & cutting that back. Back indoors I made a cottage pie for dinner, then sat down & watched Tipping Point, followed by The Chase.
Now off to water the garden with the hose.
