Guard wolf?

A few years ago the Townhouse in Inverness  had a massive restoration. At the start  of the work the two dogs perched high on the roof were taken down for safekeeping.The keeping turned out to be less than safe though as no-one knew where they had been stored. Two wolf carvings were commissioned to replace them. The dogs turned up in the nick of time to be restored to their lofty perches and the wolves were redeployed to either side of the front entrance. The extra shows the information board.
