Sitting with an Angel

This Blip is a slight cheat because my pictures today were boring and unsuited to such an important day. This is a picture from yesterday, taken by the side of Lake Dellen, at the Harbour Art Show.
An angel waits....   In Swedish this artwork is called "Bisittare", literally a person who sits with someone. That sounds very lovely but in reality it is a very formal, often legal term, meaning judge, assessor, assistant, etc.
There's a small seat next to the angel so you can sit there and admire the view, think about others, say a prayer or just comtemplate the mysteries of life. Are you sitting with the angel, or is the angel sitting with you? Maybe that's one of the things you can think about.
For Jan and I, today is our wedding anniversary. 38 years ago we got married; we've been together 42 years. Wow....
We happily travel on together hoping for many more years to continue our journey.
