St Swithin’s Day

It was definitely a day of two halves. We woke up to cloud and rain, which lasted until the afternoon and then it was blue skies and sunshine.
Chores in the morning and I then I headed up to the Hydro for a long swim.
I retired on St Swithin’s day last year so it was good to meet up with my friend Anne at the Paper Mill in Lasswade this evening to celebrate with drinks (mocktails as we were both driving) and snacks.
