Raindrops on a neighbour’s passion flower which was starting to open.  It is an unusual colour but I prefer the more usual purple flowers.  (This is a white flower but the phone camera often has a blue tinge to white objects}  The morning’s rain would be very welcome for the gardeners and farmers then it became sunny later. Today is St Swithin’s Day when an old saying is that if it rains it will rain for the next 40 days and if it’s dry it will be dry for the next 40 days, so we should get mixed weather for the next 40 days.  However there is no statistical evidence for the saying.
