Surfing Statue

We are in Hermosa Beach for this weekend's AVP Volleyball Tournament. Today was a practice day for some of our favorite teams, so we arrived early and walked to the venue. While I didn't see any surfers, I did spot this statue on the walk down Pier Avenue.
